Helen Helder-Manson, born 1975
Helen was born and raised in the South Island of New Zealand. She worked as a nurse, and then an anaesthetic assistant in NZ operating theatres, before being kidnapped by her waiter, and forced to surf in Portugal. (Dang!) Loves shopping, making pie, running, yoga and surfing. Dont mess with her in the morning until her third cup of coffee!
Helen takes care of the admin side of Atlantic Riders.

and

Rene

René Helder, born october 1969
Born and raised in Holland from Dutch father and Surinam mother. Has a degree in International Management and Logostic Management from the the Hague School of Business. Before Atlantic Riders René worked at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport with an Airfreight Logistics company. After a few years he realized that the concrete jungle is not a good place to be. At the age of 29 he resigned and went travelling for two years in Australia and New Zealand, where he eventually found his wife Helen. He's happy he changed the suited life for a wetsuited life. Essentials: surf, funk, chilling with friends and midnight munchies.
Surf style: Longboarding

was born in Port Macquarie, on the mid-north coast of new south wales, Australia. this being the case and with a little help for my parents, my love for the beach grew, and today i can't live with out it. spending most of my child hood in a quiet little beachside town is how i started surfing. in my teens i moved to the city with my parents where i completed my schooling and attempted to find a career path to follow. however my love for rugby and the desire to surf new breaks led me to travel the u.k. and europe where i stumbled accross atlantic riders.... likes long walks along the beach and candlelit dinners.... life motto: go hard or go home! + enjoy the ride...
