Helen Helder-Manson, born 1975
Helen was born and raised in the South Island of New Zealand. She worked as a nurse, and then an anesthetic assistant in NZ operating theaters, before being kidnapped by her waiter, and forced to surf in Portugal. (Dang!) Loves shopping, making pie, running, yoga and surfing. Don't mess with her in the morning until her third cup of coffee!
Helen takes care of the admin side of Atlantic Riders.

René Helder, born october 1969
Born and raised in Holland from Dutch father and Surinam mother. Has a degree in International Management and Logistic Management from the the Hague School of Business. Before Atlantic Riders René worked at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport with an Airfreight Logistics company. After a few years he realized that the concrete jungle is not a good place to be. At the age of 29 he resigned and went traveling for two years in Australia and New Zealand, where he eventually found his wife Helen. He's happy he changed the suited life for a wetsuited life. Essentials: surf, funk, chilling with friends and midnight munchies.
Surf style: Longboarding
Jock Hamilton
Jock Hamilton, born in 1988 in Glenelg, South Australia. Unfortunately there are no waves where he lives, so Jock is used to long treks out of the metro beaches in search of waves in more remote parts of the state. Jock enjoys relaxing by skateboarding, traveling, swimming and surfing with mates. On his travels he surfed parts of Indonesia, Southern California, Mexico and various places around Australia. Jock is half way through studying a Law and Commerce degree in Adelaide but has taken the semester off to have some more fun! To fund his adventures Jock works at different wineries over vintage months, to save money, drink wine and travel at all at once - life's a beach!
Ryan Nufer
Was rasied in Santa Barbara, California. Being from a surfing and sailing family it wasn't long before he found his love for the ocean. Ryan spent most his child hood surfing up and down the Pacific coast of California. Over the last 5 years Ryan has been traveling around the world traveling to Mexico, all of central America, Ecuador, Fiji, Europe, Australia and Indonesia. And working along the way as a Beach Lifeguard, Surf instructor, Stunt Man, and surfboard shaper. Enjoys traveling to new places, meeting new people and everything that goes along with the beach life! His life motto is "Living The Dream".

Tiffany Riggs
Born and bred in Torquay Australia it was impossible not to grow up an avid surfer. After 18 years in the cold water it was time to move to the west where the warmer weather and waves captivated and enticed me into completing a Bachelor degree in Surfing! Yes, it does exist! Having this knowledge has allowed me to work in numerous occupations from the infamous mines of the north-west to surf coaching in the south-east of Australia. All in order to conquer a desire to surf the world! So far Central and parts of Sth America, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Aceh and other locations have been realized with many more on the life-long list. Loves friends, family, traveling, muat thai, music and most importantly... all things chocolate!
Charlie Bainger
Grew up on a 15,000 acre beef cattle property near a small fishing village named Robe on the isolated South East coast of South Australia. Since finishing high school and business management at university began travelling the globe in search of waves and adventures! Years later after spending seasons in Chili, Greece, France, and just about everywhere ells in South and Central America as well as most of Europe he returns to the wave oasis of Portugal for his 2nd Atlantic Riders season!
Surf style, short board, regular foot! Loves to surf, chill and party!
